And we are home. 1787.6 miles later.
60 miles left and we hit massive traffic and you can’t lane split. I said it once and I’ll say it again. I fucking hate Seattle, Washington.
Last fill up! We are on the last leg. At least I am. The other guys have to ride back. 100 miles to Seattle. - Michael
We love Carl’s Jr. 3 loaded burritos and it’s time to take a nap. Currently 50 miles from Portland Oregon.
We found out the city we were staying in last night is called Reedsport. We woke up this morning at 5AM and head north to try to make up some time. It was wet and dangerous so we decided to head east. We are about 100 miles outside of Portland.
Miles: 1500
Time spent in the saddle: 36 hrs
So tired you pass out amongst true friends: priceless
We did not make it to our planned destination of Seaside, Oregon. We ended up getting stuck in some dangerous weather and decided it’s better to spend the night, then continue on our route. We have no idea what city we are in, but we stumbled upon this scary ass, run down inn. A ghost looking attendant lady came to the front desk and checked us in. An walked into the room and the first thing he said was that he feels a presence. The place smells like mystical incence. Needless to say we are sleeping with the lights on. We’ll be walking up at 5AM and hope to make it to Seattle around 7PM.
350 miles later, after some light rain, frozen fingers and town after town of country folks, we are now in Coos Bay, Oregon. Total miles so far 1367.
We are finally on Oregon! Miles so far - 1134.9.
Almost out of California. Before heading out, we got into a bit of a run down with Paul Bunyan and An took care of business. After that, there was no more trouble.
